Free article marketing can increase search rankings to your website

Posted by amm on Thursday, 21 January, 2010

Free article marketing has saved many businesses that depend on content for advertising and email promotion! Did you know that lots of newsletters use content from article directories? Good, average or poor articles, there is an abundance out there! Why are such materials free? The very functional principles behind article marketing are grounded on low costs. There is no cheaper advertising than the web content made from informative materials. You write on a topic that relates to your business and you have links to your website included in the articles. The traffic level will increase, that’s for sure!

Free article marketing becomes possible because web directories use advertising to make money. Google Adsense has given many people the chance to make money by displaying ads on the pages that also provide lots of niche articles. By targeting a vertical market sector, businesses function within niches where they manage to make money and increase free traffic to your website. The advantages that grow out of free article marketing are relevant for web developers: links and the traffic they bring represent the big prize at stake. A big mistake that online business investors make is to try and submit articles to almost all the available directories. This can be really painstaking in terms of the effort to provide original content and perform the submission.

There are experts who claim that it is better to use free article marketing with those directories that enjoy a good reputation with Google. Thus, when you have the content material ready, you can move on and see what page rank article directories and niches have with Google. Some have a better reputation than others, and you can even find top lists with the best 25 article directories available Free article marketing has a certain risk of spamming, because search engines often ban too insistent yet irrelevant content. Free article marketing is in fact considered a major source for spamming, and it is not uncommon to come across it in all sorts of contexts.

To be entirely truthful, free article marketing carries lots of shades and not all of them are positive. You will not get great wealth overnight, and you should not eve expect it. Better try to work in honest conditions, doing your best to create valuable informative content. This should be submitted to directories afterwards so that you can actually start to improve traffic and page ranking gradually. Results come with hard work, even if free article marketing reduces the advertising costs. When it comes to online businesses, investments are just as necessary as in real-world companies. There is no escape from expense, you can just keep them under control.

Affiliate Marketing Tips – Starting The Right Way

Posted by amm on Thursday, 21 January, 2010

The first thing you should do if you want to start affiliate marketing the right way is buy the product for yourself. If you have been drawn to affiliate marketing by reading that it is possible to make money without spending any cash of your own, it will seem like a backward step to suggest that you start by spending money, but there is a good reason why you should seriously consider taking this advice.

What do you know about the product you will be promoting? If you haven’t tried the product, all you will know is what other people have told you and the “other people” are probably the owner of the product and his/her marketing team. Don’t you think they might be just a little bit biased? The truth is that even if the product was a complete turkey, they’d still be telling you it’s an eagle. The only way you will really know what a product does, is to buy it and test it out yourself.

It is only when you have purchased and used the product that you will be in a position to promote it effectively because you will then know exactly what it can do as opposed to what the owner would like you to believe it can do. You will find there can be a huge difference between the sales pitch dreamed up by copywriters and the actual performance of a product. Being an actual user of the product means you will be in a position to write genuine reviews on the product instead of regurgitating the advertising blurb.

One of the first things to strike me was that the book contained many typographical errors and obvious spelling mistakes. Call me picky but a person asks me to pay for a book, I don't think I'm being unreasonable in expecting it to be free from typos and spelling errors. It got worse: I didn't have to read far before I noticed some passages that made no sense; it was obvious that something had gone wrong during a cutting and pasting operation, and this had not been detected during final proof-reading. In fact, I doubted that anyone had bothered to proof-read the book before publishing.

The content turned out to be just a rehash of old ideas plus some out of date references. One of the author’s recommendations was to produce articles to be passed off as your own work by pasting together paragraphs lifted from articles by other authors. From the overall style of the book, I could tell that much of the writing had been created by using that very technique (hence the number of cut and paste errors). That, despite the so-called author’s protestations to the contrary, is plagiarism and plagiarism is pure theft.

The author is an Auckland plumber who is ethusiast about plumbing and promote roofing.
